At Standout Therapy we offer Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology for children, teens and young adults.

What is Paediatric Occupational Therapy?

Paediatric Occupational Therapy (OT for short) aims to help kids and teens be able to do the daily tasks they want to, or need to do.

Whether that’s getting ready for school, writing, school work, navigating their emotions, playing with friends or making friends, the team at Standout Therapy work with parents and kids to boost confidence, skills and independence in all aspects of life.
Along with you, we’re their biggest cheerleaders.

What is Paediatric Speech Therapy?

A paediatric speech pathologist specialises in assessing and treating communication and feeding disorders in children. They work with kids to address issues related to speech, language, social communication, stuttering and swallowing, supporting both verbal and non-verbal expression. This includes helping children improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, social skills, verbal expression and feeding abilities, as well as offering early intervention for developmental delays. By providing tailored strategies and therapies, our paediatric speech pathologists aim to empower kids to communicate effectively, fostering their confidence, independence, and overall development.
